- Designed and sold an SNA network to connect over 5,000 locations to Ford HQ using Sub-Rate Data Multiplexing (SDM). I designed this network in a star configuration using a new capability to provide five 9.6 Kbps lines multiplexed through a single 64 Kbps line. This allowed Ford to significantly reduce their network cost while improving reliability and performance on a fully digital network.
- Designed and implemented fiber optic access for Hertz Corporation to connect 21 T1 circuits in a triangular configuration between two Hertz sites and AT&T. This involved the installation of fiber optic multiplexors at Hertz and AT&T resulting in fully redundant and cost effective access for the Hertz Reservation Center in Oklahoma City.
- Designed and sold 3 complete microwave systems to Ford Aerospace for use at Johnson Space Center in Houston. These system were installed to reduce the interval for connections between several Ford Aerospace buildings and eliminate the dependency on Bell for reliability.
- Served as the office specialist on data networks, microwave systems, fiber optics and ISDN.
